monthly meetings

You are invited to attend the NW Oregon Dairy Goat Association monthly meeting.
The location of our meetings will alternate so please check the list below for specifics. We will update as we know particulars, and will also send out email reminders to our membership.

Board Meetings will be held via conference calls most likely mid-week prior to each general meeting. If you would like to be part of these calls, please let Kristina Harlow know.

If you are not yet a member, please consider supporting the club by joining!
You can mail in a membership form or conveniently pay with a card or through paypal.

If you would like to learn more about our dairy goat association, please join us!

The association has bi-monthly meetings currently held at 2pm the second Saturday of the month.
Special events are held in February (Conference), June (Annual Show), December (Christmas Party).

January 21st at the clubhouse – round table discussion on minerals, supplements, herbs, and feeding protocols

March 11th – location tbd – doe care, both pre and post kidding, particularly metabolic issues

May 13th – farm visit at Missdees Alpines – bucks, selection, determining worth, how to raise and care for

July tbd – kid evaluation and selection – how to decide which kids to keep.
Since ADGA will not be offering young stock appraisal this year, we thought it would be a good, hands-on type of topic. We welcome judges and experienced breeders to attend and share your expertise and members to bring some kids for comparison.

September 10th – Club Picnic at the Molalla Train Park.
For the past couple of years, we have not been able to coordinate our picnic with all the shows, fairs and general farm busy-ness that everyone has. So we thought we’d try having a fall picnic while the weather is still nice, and hopefully everyone can catch a breather and relax a bit.

November 11th at the clubhouse – Candy making
